Is very clear that according to sources both known and unknown (www.athleticsnation.com)there was a curse placed on this team and to resolve it, Billy Beane needed to be tossed into a volcano after trading away Cespedes last year. Obviously for legal and moral reasons we could not throw the actual Beane into said volcano, however one brilliant fan thought up and brought about a solution to the sacrificial dilemma:
